First Nations Services

Many sites across Vancouver offer First Nations programs in community facilities, welcoming peoples from many nations. Sites with this notation are specifically set up for  Aboriginal people who live in Vancouver and offer a range of programs designed to narrow the digital divide, while still keeping traditional concerns in mind. You will also be able to find a number of other services specifically designed for First Nations in Vancouver.

  • Wednesday – Friday: 3pm – 5pm Personal tutoring can be booked for a specific need.
  • Monday: 3pm – 4pm Tuesday & Thursday: 2pm – 3pm a staff tutor will be available in the computer lab
  • Classes consist of Basic computer skills lessons, which includes: online keyboard exercises, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Paint, e-mail, and other interests the clients are interested in.
  • MS office is available on most of the computers, as well as basic programs (Notepad, Wordpad etc)
  • Apart from free computer lessons, MPNH offers ESL classes, pre-school, senior activities, First nations activities, activities/events for people with disabilities, and many more.
