Creative Software Classes

Locations with this symbol attached offer classes for intermediate computer users who want to learn about specific programs used in creating animation, design and illustration as well as photography modifying programs. Focusing largely on the Adobe Creative Suites these classes are not for computer beginners. A basic understanding of software is recommended if these classes are to be fully appreciated.

Leigh Seldon – VCN intern at Gallery Gachet
“Once or twice a month I held computer classes on different topics like Photoshop, InDesign and Google Calendars for collective members, volunteers and the general public. Workshops are important because they give people an introduction to programs that they are interested in and are able to learn more about them and to use them. The sharing of knowledge that happens during a class is really great and offers people new tools and information around programs they otherwise would not know.”
